What’s my check engine light mean?

The check engine light comes on when the on board computer sees a fault, usually with an emissions control system. If the light is on solid it is an indicator to get the vehicle checked, however if the light begins to flash than whatever is failing could damage the catalytic converter and should be checked right away. If the light is flashing it is highly advisable to stop driving and have your vehicle towed to your auto service center.

Why is John Houska called LJ?

When John Houska was still in high school and began working with the shop in the early 90’s there were 3 Johns already. To avoid confusion we began calling him Little John. The name stuck and was shortened to L.J.

Do you give rides?

Sure do. Our shuttle drivers run anytime we are open and as needed to get you to and from where you need to go while your car is being serviced.

I Need to pick my car up afterhours, how do I do that?

No problem!  Give our front office staff a call with a credit card number and you'll be all set for us to lock your vehicle in our parking lot.  We have lock boxes beside our front door to keep your keys secure.  Our advisor will give you a box location and a code to open the box and you'll be all set.
